About the Artist

ARTIST STATEMENT

I have painted since 1973. A spark of inspiration hits and I get “fired up” - a new piece begins. My styles change frequently, seems like I start over each time I pick up the paints, so sometimes it feels like I go backward and sometimes forward. Thriving on the feeling of squeezing fresh paint, drooling over the colors, applying them to the surface, and solving the problems that emerge is innate. Concluding the painting is satisfying. It’s a wonderful life being a painter full of work and pleasure. It’s always about the process. I recommend starting painting to anyone at any age.

In addition to painting, I take photos, make jewelry, and try just about any art form that comes my way.
